KUMC Dinner Group

The casual KUMC Adult Dinner Group has completed its first year of monthly gatherings in homes and local restaurants and invites others to join us. Get-togethers can take place in members' homes, if there is enough space, or at area eateries, which have become our favorite plan. A different person chooses the location each month and sends out the invitation. What better way to get to know others in our congregation than around a cheerful table! Consider joining our fellowship group for feasting and fun.

Our next get-together will be at Mama Stortini’s at Kent Station on Friday, September 25, at 6:00 p.m. This month, RSVP to Danita Cochrane so we can reserve a large enough area for all of us. The existing group is looking forward to new faces and lively meal times. We hope to hear from you!!

BMC (Building Maintenance Crew)

The BMC gathers on the first Monday of each month at 8:30 a.m. to work on maintenance projects around the church. The BMC would love more people to join the team!

Bunco Night

Join us on the third Friday of the month at 6:30 p.m. in the fellowship hall for socializing and games of Bunco. $2 to play and bring a snack (one per group or family) to share. The ticket price includes drinks and prizes! New people are always welcome!

I Care Breakfast Group

The group meets on Wednesdays at 8:30 a.m. at Maggie’s on Meeker.  

Line Dancing Class

Our Line Dancing Class is every Wednesday from 1 to 2 pm at the YMCA next door. Join us for free fun, fellowship, and the opportunity to improve your health! Beginners are welcome, and there’s no commitment—simply come when you can...you’ll be glad you did!

Men’s Breakfast

Meets monthly on the 3rd Saturday at 9 a.m. in the fellowship hall.

Handbell Choir

Quilt Guild

The group meets monthly and has special demonstrations, programs, and projects at regular meetings and on other days when more time is needed. They meet on the 2nd Thursday of the month at 2:00 p.m. and at noon in December. (Takes a break in July and August.)

Sanctuary Choir

Rehearses on Wednesdays at 7 p.m. in the music room and provides music for worship from September to June. Find out more at kentmethodist.com/music-groups
