Music
At Kent United Methodist Church, music is a large and
important part of our worship. There are many opportunities to be
musically involved within the church, whether you're just beginning or a master
musician!

Sanctuary Choir
Our Sanctuary choir is under the direction of Dee
Anderson, who is a seasoned conductor. They rehearse Wednesday nights from
7:00-8:30pm in the Sanctuary. The choir sings every Sunday, alternating
services (11am on the 1st,3rd and 5th Sundays, 9:25am on the 2nd and 4th
Sundays).
The choir also sings at various events and services throughout the year.
If you love to sing, talk to Dee on Sunday about joining!
Adult Bells
The adult bell choir is under the direction of Pam Johnson, and is open to any
adult with a little music experience. They are
currently rehearsing with the youth bell choir on Sunday afternoons at 4:15pm in
the music room. The group rings many times throughout
the year at both Worship services and other events. If you are interested
in joining, speak with Pam Johnson
on Sunday!
Women's Ensemble
The women's ensemble is open to all women of the church.
They rehearse periodically through the year right after the 11:00am
service. The group sings several times throughout the year, at both services.
Please speak with Terry Bolender
or Janice Moen if you are interested!
Gospel Men
This group is currently on hiatus.
If you are interested in joining,
please speak
with Brian Bygland!
